[Szayel is in the lobby, reading a book on european folklore from the new library. You can tell it's him because of the cup of tea and the overly plush robe. But he seems to have... fallen asleep?? with the book on his face??? on the couch?????]
[invisible robe-wearing ghost is a light sleeper, and jumps at the voice, sending the book to the floor. The arm of the robe raises toward where the face should be, apparently adjusting something. Then, it reaches over and grabs something ELSE invisible from the coffee table]
So we wouldn't be able to ask for information about the monsters, huh... sucks that the fucking dog isn't a youkai. I wouldn't be familiar with it. I should have read more fantasy novels. . .
By the way, you know Ichigo, right?
[ She pays attention to chat. ] You don't have any stories about dumb things he's done that you can share, do you?
Of course not. That would make this infernal game too easy.
[he grumbles, which may or may not be heard, and takes a long sip of his tea]
Ah well... I know 'of' Ichigo. I never fought him myself, or really even interacted with him -- I took on two of the the other interlopers who broke into Las Noches. Aha. I'm sorry, that's probably not the kind of juicy gossip you wanted to hear.
Maybe not, but. . . I'm actually vaguely interested in this sort of thing.
[ Her interest is immediately piqued. ] Las Noches... that's Spanish, isn't it? I'm not really familiar with the language enough, though. Is it like, another world? Or like, somewhere on Earth? I know Ichigo talked about being from Japan, so.
Yes! It is. Spanish, or a language very similar to it, is most commonly spoken in Hueco Mundo. Las Noches is the giant palace at the heart of Hueco Mundo where Lord Aizen and his Arrancar live. It's... part of the world you know as "Earth", but exists parallel to it.
Oh, simply enough. The worlds exist on their own planes, connected by corridors of dark matter. With the right tools, you can traverse these corridors, but it isn't commonly done -- ah, except for the corridors between the living world and Soul Society, of course.
Our world's equivalent of "Heaven", I suppose. But it's not exactly a paradise -- it's where human souls go to await reincarnation. Of course, there are entire lineages of souls that are born and will die in Soul Society, never stepping foot in the living realm.
WEEK 3 MONDAY - Szayelaporro

Hello?
[ Trying to be careful not to disturb too much because that looks like someone (???) napping. ]

Miss Inaba. You startled me.

[ She genuinely seems apologetic, as evidenced by how she bows her head a little bit. ]
This is... Szayelaporro, right? Judging by the book and the way you're texting.

[Szayel sits up and straightens out the robe]
Indeed. I was just... trying to do some research.
[after he sends the message, he picks up the book and waves it a bit before putting it on the coffee table]
It is amazingly bereft of any information on creatures that could be considered "monsters".
