Well, first of all, the place where we were was Watanuki-san's dreams. [Oh hey, that's the first time she's actually said that out loud.] So it's likely that "dream logic" was at play.
Anyway, the setting of the dream was Watanuki-san's shop. Normally it was just us there, and sometimes Watanuki-san himself, but one day a customer appeared. He was a pretty ordinary-looking boy. Japanese, a few years older than me. He introduced himself as John Doe, a magician. He told us that there was a trial coming up, which didn't affect him but affected a number of "foreign workers"--that's us--and that the person running the trial was trying to get them found guilty, and he was looking for a way to help prevent that.
We ended up having the choice of giving him one of three items. There was a "Summer Camp Petosky" bandanna tied around some marroni chestnuts, which I believe we've discussed before. There was a roll of dirty, used-looking bandages, which I think must have had something to do with Dazai-san. And there was a "Magic for Beginners" book, which was what we went with because it seemed relevant. Then Watanuki-san appeared and said it was a reminder for Doe-san.
[She thinks for a moment.]
During his explanation, he mentioned someone called "Titi." None of us thought to ask who that was.
If the used bandages were meant to represent Dazai. . . this might be the trial. But the problem I'm having with that is that I don't think he wants us to be found guilty.
...I'm not sure what to think of him, if I'm being honest.
I suppose he isn't necessarily in charge, though. He's the "host," but that doesn't mean he isn't taking orders from someone. The "producer," I suppose.
...that, I'm not sure about. He showed some strange abilities that make me think he might be from 6350 himself. In that case, he'd have as much to lose from a bad result as we do.
He could also be John Doe, since you said he was Japanese, right--

You said he 'looked ordinary', but can you give me a better descriptor? Oh, and how he acted, too. His personality might be telling and it's something that I can look out for or talk to Atsushi about.
That's... plausible. He looked Japanese and his hair was about right. He was a bit younger, but of course it was a dream. He was skinny, and he wore glasses.
As for his personality... it's hard to judge from just that one meeting, but it did seem like he had similar aspects. They're both... I don't know how to put it. Flippant, maybe? Like he wasn't really taking things seriously.
And he was definitely with the Foundation, so there's that.
Oh, yeah. . . dreams are probably unreliable. I know Syaoran also mentioned him having blue eyes, too? Dazai's eye color isn't blue, though. He could be wearing contacts, but that's.
