The Welcoming Committee, founded by Inaba Himeko is an organization of fellow otherworlders that are here to assist fellow newcomers with information guides, assistance in finding homes, jobs, and learning how to use the technology, as well as answer any questions they may have as necessary!

Welcoming Committee members are supplied with special pins: these pin are circular and have small image representation for all four seasons (snowflake for winter, cherry blossom for spring, sun for summer and a leaf for autumn) and have the letters WCM on the bottom. Members may also receive a wearable nametag with this same symbol as well.

All newcomers who are approached by a Welcoming Committee member may be provided with a welcoming basket, which contains physical pamphlets on basic information and how to use your new devices (complete with text and picture version), an extra set of clothes, and some baked goods.

Businesses and other charity works are free to inquire about coordinating with the Welcoming Committee as needed! We'd be open to advertising your work!

Contact Hours: Every day from 9 AM - 9 PM as needed.

Services

Welcoming others into the world! We aim to show otherworlders what the world is like and help guide people. If you are lost, feel free to come to us and we'll help guide you. We also are here to help introduce you to the world of Ellipsa with any guides.
Providing services! Advertising any services that may be available in the world if inquired; if there is something in particular that someone needs to know about (i.e: "where would I go if I need to repair my clothes?") the Welcoming Committee can help with that.
Providing jobs! Similarly to the above, if characters are looking for a job, we are here to share what places have openings available. The Welcoming Committee is also here to assist in any resume writing or other basic job assistance as needed.
Answering basic questions! Basically, the Welcoming Committee aims to be your stop for Q&A. This mostly pertains to inquiries about the world, technology, and other various newcomer questions.
Technology tutorials! The Welcoming Committee will assist those who are unfamiliar with Ellipsa's tech by teaching those who are having difficulties on figuring things out.

We can call it that, yeah!

Lelouch Lamperouge, joining the committee for uh... food assistance? He's willing to donate whatever doesn't sell in his bakery by the end of the day to anyone who might be experiencing food insecurity (NOTE: this is a case where like, none of the food has actually gone bad or stale or anything, it's literally a day old, but bakeries bake stuff fresh every day so). Also, let's go with catering for both the welcoming committee and the people being welcomed; he is providing cupcakes for newcomers as well as like, idk, how about donuts for the workers. Everyone love donuts. Anyone who denies this is lying to themselves and god (??????????).

Like Yuri, also can meet different dietary requirements.
