As usual, he was talking about how he was such a bad person, and how he wanted to be despicable... "hated by righteousness" or something like that. But then he said that it's a role he was born to fill, and the world needs people like that.
[Her gaze hardens.]
I told him there's already plenty of bad people. [She tries to remember her exact words now, because it might be important.]
..."Why do you have to fill that role? What's stopping you from being a better person? Did somebody say you can't? There's already enough bad people in this world, so if it's so easy for you either way, why don't you put yourself on the side that needs more help right now?"
...I don't think that was it exactly, but something like that. I... got caught up in the moment.
[She makes another frustrated sound, rubbing at her head again.]
Well, I'll keep talking to him, I suppose. He threw me out after that, but if he was well enough to come check on our meeting, I'm sure he can handle another chat.
He warned me that it should be kept a secret. Because the Foundation is watching. I think he doesn't want the Foundation to know more information about him. And I don't, either.
But I was willing to risk this much to let the cameras know for several reasons. The first being that the others that know him would know in the off chance that something went wrong. The second was to give a confirmation of the bluff. And the third was because I'm a petty asshole who wanted to give the Foundation the proverbial middle finger.
I won't. It's probably not going to come up again, anyway.
[ She does sigh heavily. ]
And I know. I just don't want anyone to die. I'm sick and tired of people dying. I want to rise up the ranks as well, because that would protect me, but-- this is a life or death situation.
And more than that: this whole thing probably puts all of the 6350s at risk if someone murders. I'm not going to allow a complete wipe of the 6350s because they didn't know the reality of the situation and decided to go for a stupid motive like this.

[And it was terrifying, even if she doesn't want to admit it right away.]

[ She-
She gets it now. ]
I wonder if he knows about that. [ ... ] But, mm. You're right about that.

[It's enough to distract her from the rest.]

He was told about Atsushi. So probably.

Then isn't it even more pointless for him to insist he has to be a bad person?!

[Ugh!]
After I said that, he looked guilty. I could tell.
2/2
...Guilty and conflicted.

[There's a small huff to her voice, but she's lost much of the energy from before.]
Why does he feel like he has to do this? Is it just because of the Foundation's rules, or something else?

And I don't know. . . it could be either.

Because... I think he showed up to be a distraction, so I kind of should thank him.

[Or, wait-]
Because of the SCP you were talking about?

In that case, please don't say anything more about it around me.
[If she does end up being questioned later, she doesn't know if she'll be able to withhold information on their behalf.]
I understand what you're trying to do, but about half of our group are C-class.
[And many of them are willing to do whatever it takes to keep rising among the ranks.]

[Granted, it's been a long time since she lost anyone close, but...
It isn't anything she's going to forget soon.]
I don't know how much more I can do besides hope that no one here is stupid enough to take a motive like that, but I'll keep looking for things to do.
