Hopefully it's sunny enough. This admittedly doesn't always work so well in the winter.

I'm glad. I have to admit, I never was as good as my friends when it comes to crafting things with cantus, so I worried a little.

It's okay, I'm not good at crafting anything, period.

Being able to manipulate materials with cantus was one of the earliest ways they taught us to control our powers, so everyone from the villages had some basic training.

Mine were just not as flashy as some of my classmates', especially as we got older.

Well, not being flashing isn't necessarily a bad thing, I think. Although I guess as a kid, that'd be more impressive looking.

It was mostly embarrassing when I was around fourteen. Almost all of my friends were doing amazing things, so I felt left out.

Naturally, none of that really matters now that I'm here instead.
